MAT 239 Gradebook
MAT 239 Gradebook, Fall 2009
Grade Summary 1. The raw score, "MT1 r", is converted to the
scaled score, "MT1 s", by the rule:
MT1 r = n gets converted to MT1 s = 100 + 2.5(n - 36)
So 0/36 gets converted to 10 class points, and 36/36 gets converted to 100 class points.
There are 10 possible class points for each WeBWorK assignment, and 9 points for the paper assignment.
The extra credit that "Possible" gets that "100%" does not get are
the attendance extra credit (ecA1),
3 points for set 0, and 3 points for the extra credit part of the book homework.
Grade Summary 2. The raw score, "MT2 r", is converted to the
scaled score, "MT2 s", by the rule:
MT2r = n gets converted to MT2s = 100 + 2.5(n - 36)
So 0/36 gets converted to 10 class points, and 36/36 gets converted to 100 class points.
There are 10 possible class points for each WeBWorK assignment.
The extra credit that "Possible" gets that "100%" does not get are
the attendance extra credit (ecA2).
Pre-final Grade Summary. The last 3 columns give the percentage
of the 250 class points that you need to get on the Final Exam to get an A (B, or C) in the course.
Final Grade Summary.
The scaling of the final is FEs = 100 + 2(FEr - 81) = 2 FEr + 88.
