**Midterm 1** is scheduled for Wednesday, February 12.
It will cover WeBWorK
sets 1 through 7. The main topic of the exam is integration skills.
No graphing or scientific calculators and no notes are allowed at the exam.
The exam will begin and end promptly.

Here is the sample exam that I handed out in class. The solutions to all but the last problem are on BbLearn.

You might also want to see the Paul's notes section on
Integration Strategy.
I suggest you read that section, but remember that we did not do
trig substitution (3d) or completing the square (3f).

The scaling of exam 1 is n out of 48 (raw score) gets scaled to 100 + 1.4(n-48) = 1.4n + 32.8 (class points).
