Welcome!
I specialize in the use of corpus linguistic methods to explore lexical and grammatical variation, with a special focus on online registers and the language of the law. I'm also interested in linguistic research methods, including corpus design and representativeness, methodological triangulation, and statistical analysis.
I am also a Founder and General Editor of the international scholarly journal Register Studies, Technical Strand Editor for Cambridge Elements in Corpus Linguistics, and Series co-Editor for Routledge's Advances in Corpus Linguistics.
