Welcome to the web site of the Southwestern Section of the MAA. The Southwestern Section encompasses Arizona and New Mexico and the El Paso region of Texas. The section holds one annual meeting, typically in April, alternating between Arizona (even years) and New Mexico/El Paso. In even years, ArizMATYC, the Arizona affiliate of AMATYC, meets jointly with the Southwestern Section of the MAA.
