As writing coordinator and consultant, I am a resource to the students and faculty in all aspects of written communication. Appointments can be made for an individual consultation for help on specific areas such as grammar, APA style documentation, or organization. Process writing, outlining, and note-taking are a few of the topics that will be offered in writing workshops throughout the year.
The goal of a writing consultation, or participation in a workshop, is to help you improve as a confident and competent writer in order to use writing for inquiry, thinking, and communicating.
To make an appointment for a writing consultation, call my office at 317-7088 or the Writing Center at 317-6171. Be prepared to bring a copy of your paper, the assignment, and specific questions to be addressed. This is an opportunity to help you increase your skills.
