| Decided
to lay a wood laminate floor over the vinyl. |

down a blue foam moisture/sound barrier between the wood and vinyl. |

| The wood
laminate was surprisingly easy to install. It did chew up my carbide
saw blade pretty good though. |

| Here it
is completed. |

| Another
shot. Only took me 6 hours on a Saturday to lay. Then another
hour or so to install the toe kick on Sunday. Not too bad. |

| THE
WOOD LAMINATE REALLY GIVES THE KITCHEN A FINISHED LOOK AND GOES PRETTY
WELL WITH THE NATURAL OAK TRIM I HAVE THROUGHOUT THE ROOM. |
